The Challenge
Sometimes we get too focussed on word-count. Sometimes we forget the story while we get the next 100, 300, 500 words done. This site is here to prove that you can tell just as good a story in 50 words. That you can convey the feelings, form the images, tell the story, in just fifty words. Are you up for it?
Can I Submit My Story?
Yes. You are most welcome to send in your story. Check out the Submissions Page
Can I Use Your Story in My Blog, Publication, Whatever?
Depends. First, you should ask for permission by emailing us at 50wordfiction@gmail.com We will contact whoever sent the story. If we don’t receive the reply within a week, feel free to use the story in whatever way you want. If we do receive a reply we will tell you. But please, give credit where credit is due, no stealing of stories, no plagiarism.
